Recommended for high production milling in difficult to machine materials such as Inconel, Hastalloy, Titanium alloys and other materials up to 40 Rc. Fine Pitch Roughers produce a smooth finish that often eliminates the need for a finishing cut.
SUPERIOR ROUGHER DESIGN: Made from Premium M-42 8% Cobalt steel with ground form knuckle tooth geometry that reduces drag and friction. Each knuckle tooth is staggered and ground perpendicular to tools rotational axis for free cutting action.
Microshield™ TiN – Titanium Nitride: A general purpose coating for solid carbide, HSS and HSCO end mills that provides effective protection against wear, abrasion and edge buildup. Primary applications are milling steels in a non-hardened condition.
