The style D tools may be used for finish turning, chamfering or boring in either right or left hand directions. They are ideal for profiling where the reentrant angles are not less than 45°. To use the tool in a 45° boring bar a slight modifying grind is required.
C-2 Grade: Carbide grade for cast or malleable iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials.
